This page explains how to delete your Galina Live account and its data. Galina Live is published on Google Play by Galina Live.
Delete your account in the App
- Open Galina Live and go to Settings > Delete Account.
- Optionally, tell us why you're leaving.
- Tap Request Account Deletion.
Your account is scheduled for deletion and removed after 30 days. Until then you can keep using the App and cancel the deletion from the same screen if you change your mind.
Request deletion without the App
If you can't use the App, email support@galina.live from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Delete my account" and your username. We may ask you to confirm the request before we delete the account. The same 30-day grace period applies.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: username, email address, date of birth, gender, country, bio, profile picture and thumbnail.
- Your followers, following, blocked and muted lists.
- Your posts, comments, likes, wishlists and ratings.
- Your copy of your conversations. The people you messaged keep their copies.
- Your push notification tokens and device sign-ins.
What we keep, and for how long
Some information is kept after deletion when the law requires it or when it is needed to keep the Service safe:
- Financial records of coin purchases, gifts, entry fees and withdrawals, for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
- Safety and moderation records, such as reports, enforcement actions and information used to prevent banned users from returning, for as long as needed to protect the Service and its users.
- Information we must preserve because of a legal obligation or an ongoing investigation.
Retained information is kept securely and used only for these purposes.
