Welcome to Galina Live! These Terms of Service ("Terms") are the agreement between you and Galina Live ("we", "us", "our") for using the Galina Live app and website (the "Service"). Please give them a read before you go live.
Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Who can use Galina
- Age. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- Legality. You must not be barred from using services like ours under the laws that apply to you, including sanctions laws.
- One person, one account. You may only have one account. Multiple accounts are usually a sign of something shady, like evading a ban or inflating followers, and we may remove all accounts involved.
Your account
- You sign in with a Google account. Keep it secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- Keep your profile truthful. No pretending to be someone else.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account. See Delete Your Account.
Your content
- You own it. Lives, posts, comments and messages you create remain yours.
- You give us a licence. So that we can run the Service, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute and adapt your content for operating, moderating and promoting the Service. The licence ends when your content is deleted, except where it has been shared by others or we must keep it for legal reasons.
- You're responsible for it. Only share content you have the right to share, and make sure it follows our Community Guidelines.
- Moderation. We review content, including snapshots of lives, and may remove content or restrict accounts that break these Terms or our guidelines.
Lives and guests
Hosts decide who joins their stage as a guest and may remove guests at any time. Guests are responsible for what they share on someone else's live. Hosts and their chosen moderators may mute or remove viewers from their lives.
Coins and gifts
- Coins are a virtual item that lets you send gifts and join premium lives. They are a limited licence to use features of the Service, not money, and have no cash value outside it.
- Coins cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged outside the Service.
- When coin purchases are available they are processed by Google Play. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policies and the consumer laws that apply to you.
- Gifts you send are final once delivered to a host.
- We may change coin prices, gifts and offers at any time, but changes never affect coins you already own.
Premium lives and entry fees
- Hosts can charge an entry fee, paid in coins, to watch a premium live.
- Hosts may change the entry fee during a live. A change is announced in the live with a countdown before it takes effect, and viewers can pay the new fee in advance. Viewers who have not paid the new fee when it takes effect may lose access to the live.
- Entry fees are non-refundable once paid, unless the law requires otherwise.
Earnings and withdrawals
So you've earned something on Galina Live and want to cash out? Here's how it works.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and have a verified account.
- Your earnings must come from legitimate activity on Galina Live. We may withhold or reverse earnings that come from fraud, manipulation, coordinated gifting schemes or breaches of our Community Guidelines.
- Withdrawals are paid in US dollars.
Withdrawal policy
Every account has a withdrawal policy that sets out limits and requirements. You can view yours in the App under Settings > Withdraw coins.
Exchange rate
Withdrawals are converted using our exchange rate at the time your request is approved, not when you submit it. Check the rate before you request a withdrawal.
Our intellectual property
The Galina Live name, logo, designs and software belong to us. You may not copy, modify or reverse engineer the Service, or use our branding without permission.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, remove content or restrict features if you break these Terms or our guidelines, if required by law, or to protect users or the Service. Where reasonable, we tell you why. You may stop using the Service at any time.
Disclaimers
We work hard to keep Galina Live running smoothly, but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error free. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost followers, lost profits or lost data. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We change the date at the top, and for significant changes we let you know in the App before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by [Your Jurisdiction] law (insert your local superhero legal code). Disputes go to arbitration, no courtroom drama. We'd rather watch a Suits or Scandal rerun.
